The Studio
AVAN Infinite Studio is a multidisciplinary creative and research-driven studio founded by Arghavan Ahmadi. Working across design, sustainability, research, storytelling and education, the studio explores how ideas can move beyond theory and become part of everyday life.
We see design not simply as a way to create products, but as a tool for changing perspectives, building connections and imagining more responsible futures.
Our Story
From product
to perspective.
AVAN began in 2020 as Avan Collection, rooted in fashion, design and making.
Through the process of production, a deeper question emerged: what happens to the materials, resources and ideas that remain after a product is finished?
During the development of one of AVAN's final winter collections, leftover fabrics became the starting point for a new experiment. Instead of discarding them, they were transformed into something new.
That moment shifted the focus from designing a single object to reconsidering the entire design process.
The Transformation
AVAN evolved from a fashion label into a space for ideas.
In 2024, AVAN entered a new chapter and became AVAN Infinite Studio.
The studio expanded beyond fashion into a multidisciplinary practice connecting design, research, storytelling, workshops, education and collaborative initiatives.
Today, AVAN works as an international and remote creative studio, registered and based in Brisbane, Australia.
Our Philosophy

We imagine every person, brand, community and idea as its own planet.
Each has its own perspective, values, identity, culture and direction.
Our role is not to make those worlds identical. It is to understand what makes each one distinct and help build the strategy, design language and system that allows it to grow.

Sustainability

At AVAN, sustainability is not limited to recycling, materials or environmental protection.
We see sustainability as a way of thinking about people, culture, education, economics, collaboration, behaviour and the systems we create around us.
Our aim is to make sustainability easier to understand, easier to connect with and easier to translate into meaningful everyday choices.

Arghavan Ahmadi
Founder / Creative & Strategic Director
Arghavan Ahmadi is a designer, architect and founder of AVAN Infinite Studio.
Her professional journey began across architecture, fashion and design, but gradually evolved toward a broader understanding of design as a tool for research, communication and imagining alternative futures.
Her experience developing Avan Collection from 2020 brought her into direct contact with questions around materials, resources, waste and consumption. These experiences became the foundation for a deeper engagement with sustainability.
Today, her work sits at the intersection of design, strategy, research, education and creative entrepreneurship.

Studio Support
Kobra Haghgoo
Kobra Haghgoo joined AVAN Infinite Studio in 2024 and works across studio coordination, content development and project support.
Her role includes supporting internal processes, helping organise studio activities and translating ideas and projects into clear and engaging stories for different audiences.
With experience across textile design, print, graphics, content creation and cultural projects, she connects visual thinking with communication and conceptual storytelling.
She also contributes to Infinite Green Mission, supporting content, member introductions, project storytelling and communication.
