Infinite
Grace
Nothing is wasted.
Everything can become part of another story.
The Project
Material does not lose its value when its first purpose ends.
Infinite Grace explores how discarded fragments, leftover fabric and existing materials can become the beginning of a new design language.
Developed through AVAN Infinite Studio’s exploration of sustainable design, the project begins with materials often considered too irregular, too small or too imperfect to return to conventional production.
Rather than hiding these limitations, Infinite Grace allows them to shape the design.
From Remnants to Form
Designing with what already exists.
The process begins by observing the material before defining the final form.
Fabric offcuts, unfinished edges and leftover components become active design decisions rather than problems that need to be concealed.
Constraint becomes part of the creative language.
Material / Process
From fragments
to a new whole.
The process starts with what is already available: offcuts, unfinished pieces, construction tests and existing details. These fragments guide proportion, placement and the relationship between the garment’s parts.
Instead of forcing every material into a predetermined form, the design develops through observation, editing and reuse.
Design Language
Construction is allowed to remain visible.
Raw edges, exposed stitching, embroidery, chain work and detachable components become part of the visual identity of the garment.
Instead of erasing the process of transformation, Infinite Grace celebrates it.
The fragment is not hidden. It becomes visible.
Signature Detail
Meaning can exist in the smallest element.
Construction details are treated as part of the project’s narrative — from embroidered architectural lines to custom hardware and contrasting material relationships.
The garment becomes a collection of traces: evidence of process, previous material lives and intentional transformation.
Modularity
One design.
Multiple expressions.
Detachable and interchangeable elements allow the pieces to move between different configurations, extending both their use and their visual possibilities.
Sustainability does not have to look unfinished, compromised or secondary.
It can become the design language itself.
Presentation
London
Fashion Day
Infinite Grace moves from studio exploration into public presentation — positioning sustainable design as a creative framework rather than an aesthetic limitation.
Sustainability begins before an object is made.
At AVAN Infinite Studio, sustainability is not treated as a final layer added after design decisions are made.
It begins with the questions we ask: what already exists, what still carries value, what can continue and what can become something else?
Infinite Grace is one expression of this approach — turning awareness into material, process and form.
